What Josh said. There’s a VERY big world of fun and interesting modern board games out there. If you like Monopoly Mr. Fulery do yourself a favor and check out the “real world” at http://www.boardgamegeek.com

How about Risk lately?! Catching up. Monopoly is down under fifty percent… a plurality you might call it, if you were smart, so a Fool like me obviously can’t be calling it that.
Josh and Bob… I agree totally with you guys that there is a waaaay bigger world of games out there. And that these ten don’t even scratch the surface. For this poll, I was just reaching for the classics that we grew up on… making sure as wide an audience as possible would be able to identify with and vote on. Just went for the “classics” in my humble (and limited) opinion.
This is the first of my “best of ten” polls and each time, I’ll be slapped around for which ones didn’t make the list of ten to choose from. You can’t please all the people all the time.
